Chris is a Trustee Executive for BESTrustees having previously held a range of management positions for the operation of both public and private sector occupational pension schemes.

Chris is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (‘PMI’) where he holds a number of roles. These include being a Non-Executive Board Director, a member of the Advisory Council and chair of the PMI Trustee Group Forum.

Chris regularly acts as a judge for a number of industry awards, is a regular speaker at industry events and was the author of the ‘Management & Administration’ module for the (then) National Association of Pension Funds ‘Trustee Toolkit’, the forerunner of the Pension Regulator’s online training for trustees. He was voted as Engaged Investor’s ‘Pensions Manager of the Year’ in both 2011 and 2014 and in 2018 received the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the PMI’ award.
